Harold Pinter and the Hackney Gang

‘Truth to Power Café’ is ONE part of An INTEGENERATIONAL PROJECT INSPIRED BY THE POLITICAL AND PHILOSOPHICAL BELIEFS OF NOBEL PRIZE WINNING PLAYWRIGHT HAROLD PINTER AND HIS HACKNEY GANG.  the gang included JEREMY GOLDSTEIN'S FATHER MICK, AND HENRY WOOLF, who at 88 is the last surviving member of the Gang.  

'TRUTH TO POWER CAFE' arose from a new play 'spider love' which has BEEN developed by jeremy and henry after an original play by mick, USING LETTERS BETWEEN THE hackney GANG, WHICH ARE now ON PUBLIC RECORD AS PART OF THE HAROLD PINTER ARCHIVE,
AT THE BRITISH LIBRARY.
