‘Truth to Power Café’ and 'spider love' - a new play, form part of An INTEGENERATIONAL PROJECT INSPIRED BY THE POLITICAL AND PHILOSOPHICAL BELIEFS OF NOBEL PRIZE WINNING PLAYWRIGHT HAROLD PINTER AND HIS HACKNEY GANG. THE HACKNEY GANG COMPRISED SIX OF HAROLD'S life-long FRIENDS INCLUDING JEREMY GOLDSTEIN'S FATHER MICK, AND HIS OLDEST FRIEND HENRY WOOLF, who at 87 is the last surviving member of the Gang.  

'TRUTH TO POWER CAFE' AND 'SPIDER LOVE' HAVE BEEN developed by jeremy and henry after an original play by mick, USING LETTERS BETWEEN THE hackney GANG, WHICH ARE now ON PUBLIC RECORD AS PART OF THE HAROLD PINTER ARCHIVE AT THE BRITISH LIBRARY.
